How can I straighten out my Golf swing?
William B asked:
When I drive the ball, it goes straight for a bit, then it just jack knifes to the right. Always the Right.

The golf swing is a complex movement with many parts. It is impossible to diagnose your problem without seeing your swing. There are more than ten different things that can cause a slice such as you are hitting… Alignment, grip, posture, spine movement, incorrect plane, clubpath problems, etc, etc…
Because of this you must be very careful taking random advice from online, from buddies, or from magazines. Just because one person hits that shot shape because of one reason doesn’t mean that’s why you are too. This is why many people go their entire life struggling with the same problems because they guess, play trial and error, and fumble through fix after fix, never finding the real problem they are having. Because of this taking advice from anyone other than a trained instructor/pro typically causes more harm than it does good.
The best thing to do is to invest in some lessons from a local PGA instructor. They can quickly identify your problems and straighten you out, and it will be well worth it.
Hope this helps, and good luck!!
