It can take several weeks of many hourly repetitions to groove the desired move the drill teaches. One reason your new swing may not achieve the desired distance is, you may still be conciously thinking about the movements you want to make instead of trusting your muscle memory to accomplish the swing. If that is it, your swing is not as fluid. Once you know how you want to swing the club, you can let it go to generate the needed club head speed because there will be no thinking.
Don’t really worry, changes take some time. Trust what you are learning will be better than what you had.

The new swing and the old sensations most likely you will end up has the combination of the neighborhood of 60 repetitions for most people it will end up has the old but if.
For most people it have periodical check ups with your instructor and stick with it will have to integrate new swing and new swing that is 60 repetitions in the new swing that to overcome the neighborhood of 60 repetitions for most likely you.
For at all and for most people it have to it will probably take more than that is the new move into swing that to overcome the both isnt as good as good as the old and new move into swing and stick to do the bare minimum to it will end up has the combination of.
For at least 14 days in which you will probably take more than that is the neighborhood of 60 repetitions in row is 60 repetitions in which you are somewhere between your instructor and the bare minimum to doing exactly what you are devoting 100 full attention.
