Golf Swing

Ok I have a major problem with my golf swing, especially off the tee. I am right handed and i have a huge right to left slice on my drives. I know what’s causing the problem it is because i don’t strike the ball with straight stroke, I hit the ball going through left to right and it creates that nasty spin. What are some practices/techniques i can do to help straighten out my drives, or is going to the range everyday until i fix the problem the only way?

When I drive the ball, it goes straight for a bit, then it just jack knifes to the right. Always the Right.

I’m a right handed person. I find that for woods (driver included), I’d hit better using more of the left hand in a swing fashion, but with iron I use the left hand only as guide while inserting lots of power from the right hand at impact on the down swing. Is this the correct combination, as I often heard that one should be using same swing for both wood and iron shots although woods would be more of a sweeping?

I bought some plastic golf balls with the holes in them so I could practice my swing in the backyard and actually have something to hit. Will this actually improve my swing, or will it make it worse because plastic balls aren’t like real golf balls? Thanks for the help guys.

Ok, I know the downswing sequence - shift to left foot, hips,
shoulders, arms, hands and clubhead. I guess in the split second, it’s hard to execute this. I am have tried simpler things like swing from the ground up. But, no luck. Also, my usual slice move has my shldrs and hips moving together at the top - result a slice. Any suggestions or drills?
